Some sort of UK Beetle I haven't seen before. Slightly larger than a ladybird and bright red all over with black undercarriage as you can see in this picture.

Tricky to ID; but I think its a leaf beetle probably Liloceris lilii (doesn't have a common name) quite rare in the UK; as the Latin name suggests they eat Lily's!
